HAND CRAFTED ONE OF A KIND COLLECTORS ITEMS FROM FORMER DISNEY ARTIST MARGENE CROSSAN

Well know for her miniature creations for over 30 years. Margene's work has been published in many trade magazines over the years! We asked Margene to create some life size as well as some whimsical  miniature items for us.
 We are proud to show them on our website. You don't have to be a wiccan to enjoy looking at these items.The fallowing descriptions are in Margene's own words.

   This is one of my own original  paintings. It  has a three denominational look to it because I made an inkwell from polymer clay, I placed a real green feather in the ink well and I made the pages of THE OPEN BOOK from real parchment-like paper and draped some of the pages out side of the frame.
    I wanted to make the candle seem to levitate as well as the crystal ball. I wanted  to create a truly magical look to this painting.  And, yes it is copyrighted.

             A one of a kind GREEN DRAGON JOURNAL
   This is a ring binder tablet. It contains 100 blank pages with the look of parchment, because it's a ring binder more pages can be added. It can be used as a journal, sketch book or a "Book of Shadows". The cover has a look and texture of  green scales both front and back.   The embellishments are hand made from polymer clay. The eye is a hand painted glass eye that looks out through hand made scales.  The edges of the cover are decorated with a jewel-like trim. The spine is covered with a flame motif fabric. The book measures  11 inches high and 10 inches wide.

  The back of the cover is covered with a  heavy green paper with a  light golden colored Celtic design. A fierce green Dragon's head threatens any one that opens the book with out the owners permission.   The first page is covered on both sides with the same Green and Gold paper.  a beautiful earth dragon decorates the front of the first page. The last page and the inside of the back cover are also covered with the green and gold Celtic knot design. there is a picket on the front and back covers that is almost invisible. The pockets can be used to save notes and spells you may wish to add to your book.

            RED DRAGON JOURNAL
I covered the front  of this book  with a fabric that has the look and feel of real scales. the spine and back of the book are covered with a luminescence flame design fabric. The embellishments are made from polymer clay. The eye ball is a hand painted glass eye. I painted it to look as if it is filled with fire! 
This  is a hard bound book with 90 blank pages.   This book measures 8-1/2 inches wide and 11-1/4 inches high.

I covered the back of the front cover with a heavy stock paper that has a Celtic knot design. The front of the first page has a nice image of a maiden and a friendly dragon. I framed the image with a black and gold trim. This image is copy righted. The book is sitting on a black wooden holder made to display fine china plates it dose not come with the book. 

Dragon, Dragons and more Dragons. I added  an image of a red Dragon to the back of the back. I covered the last page with the same paper with the Celtic knot design as the front page then I added another image of a red Dragon. The trim in the middle of the two pages is the book-mark, it ends with a black tassel and can be moved to any page to mark your place.

   One of a kind Spooky journal  with a human eye ball.
If this book looks familiar , your right!  Being a former artist with Disney I was inspired by the book on the film Hocues Pocues.
My book is not an exact replica due to copy right laws. The Disney Book has snakes on the cover. Mine has  skulls, spider webs and bat wings.
This is a hard bound book. The cover and embellishments are hand sculptured from polymer clay. The stitches are  thread made from hemp.
It has the texture of old leather.  It contains 100 blank pages. This book measures 11 inches high and 9 inches wide.
 

The back of the cover is decorated with a Grim Reaper image.
   The first page has been covered with a heave  stock purple paper with a scroll-like design. I also tried to make the first page look old and a little rumpled.

                                         A small scroll is in the center of the page that carries a warning.
 

                     The inside of the back cover is decorated with a laughing skull enveloped in flames.

The spine and back of the book are covered with a black fabric that has a silver spider web design.

                                                                               UNICORN BOOK
                                       This Unicorn book is now in a privet collection.
   I can make a Unicorn  Book similar to this one, however I can not  fine another frame like the one around the Unicorn head. I haunt  the second hand stores  just to find  treasures like this  picture frame.

   I'm feel confident that i can create a book that you will love as much as this one. If you are NOT happy with my new creation you are under no oblation to buy it.  Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for me to make the new book.
   The Unicorn is  two denominational  hand sculptured from Polymer  clay as are the embellishments . The eye is an antique glass eye that seems to fallow you as you turn the book from side to side. The roses are silk roses as are the leaves. I covered this hard bound book with a whit fabric that looks and feels like real leather.  I used a gold trim on the edges of the book cover and a black and gold ribbon on the spine.
   

 I used a heavy stock paper with a lovely blue, purple and aqua green Celtic knot design on the back of the cover and the first page. I added an image of a beautiful Unicorn Goddess on the front of the first page.

I covered the back of the back cover with the same Celtic knot design I used on the back of the front cover, and added this classic image of the maiden and the Unicorn.

    THE TOP OF MY TRIPLE  MOON WITH PENTAGRAM BOX
This box has a pleasing and usual shape. The top has an indentation in the center where I put the triple moon and pentagram design on a blue background with silver stars. I covered the two cresent moons with silver glitter.

                            On the front of this box you can see a tiny Madelon of the tipple moon  in a gold frame.

The sides of the box are covered in blue fabric with silver and gold stars, gold and white pipping and silver stare-burst ringtones.

The inside of the box is also decorated.  I lined  the inside of the box with an image on photo paper  . I added a image of a woman worshiping the triple moon on the bottom of the box and framed it with silver trim. I used the same photo paper on the top of the box then added an image of the triple moon with a tiny charm depicting an earth goddess, so both the moon Goddess and the earth Goddess are combined. The triple mood is enhanced  with a  silver trim. This  BOX measures 5-1/4 inches at it's widest point and 3 inches from front to back. Inside measurements are 4-1/8 inches wide and 4-5/8th inches from front to back and 2-1/2 inches deep count the space inside of the lid.

       SEA SHELL BOX
This is another unusual shaped box. The seashell is real and tipped  with real 12 KT gold. The pearls are flat on one side.  I used a lovely aqua blue fabric with tiny silver squares that form a wavy pattern. The fabric reminded my of the sea, and inspired the entire box.

No rhinestones this time. You can see the  Aqua Blue fabric much better in this photo. Two gold-toned seahorses and a gold-toned Dolphin  leaping over a teardrop shaped pearl  that is flat on one side. Tiny round pearls. golden silver trim and purple trim wrapped around all sides of this box.

The inside of the of this box is decorated on all sides with an image of what light looks like when filtered through moving water. I used two images of Mermaids, one  on the top of the inside of the box, and the other at the bottom of the box. I framed the Mermaid  on the bottom of the box with silver foil trim.

                   MYSTICAL MOTHER NATURE BOX

Inside the butterflys wings you will find three lavender fairies with silver wings, two copper colored mushroom, green leaves and blue flowers.
 The trim is gold colored with lavender flowers. All are made from polymer clay. I added a silver trim to frame the butterfly.

On the front of this box is a dragonfly. Inside the dragonfly made of three birds, two blue and one copper colored birds.
The gold and lavender design at each end of the front of this box as well as the Dragonfly are hand crafted from polymer clay. I added some tiny silver butterflys at each edge of the front and the sides.
Three rows of white rhinestones  and a row of rhinestones  in black fascists decorate the top and the bottom of the box and wrap around the sides of the top of this box. 

The inside of the box is decorated with butterfluys and an image of my idea of Mother Nature. the light is reflecting of the mat finished I used to protect the images inside the box I took an additional photo to
show Mother Nature as she really looks inside my box.

Butterflys decorate the bottom, sides and  inside edges of this box. It gives me a very pleasant feeling when I look at the images inside this box!

Greenman keep Sake Box

On the top of this wooden box is a hand sculptured polymer clay  face representing the fabled Greenman  surrounded by green polymer clay leaves accented with copper and gold metallic paint.   A border of silver filigree trim has been added to the top and sides of the box.

The front of the box is  accented with green  polymer clay maple leaves and a round gold framed leafy pentagram.
The inside  the top and bottom of the box have images of the Greenman surrounded by a colorful Celtic knot

                   The sides of the bottom of this box are covered with images of green leaves.
